Josh Heupel led Oklahoma to the 2000 national title as a star quarterback while concealing a serious injury to his throwing arm, Brent Venables says.

Brent Venables was also forced to make "a hard, right-hand turn" when he didn't want to, but it allowed him to become an even better football coach.
